Travel: What airport should I fly into?

Travel: What if I can't make it?

No worries! We totally understand, and you will be missed!

Attire: Is there any color I should avoid wearing to the wedding?

Dress is black tie optional for the wedding, so feel free to wear any color you would like! As a heads up, the venue is a little steep, so ladies beware.

Attire: What is the weather like in Lake Como in August?

81° / 65° - Lake Como enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate with pleasant temperatures and sunshine all year. August is peak vacation time, the lake has hot, sunny weather that's perfect for lake activities. Bring plenty of swimsuits! The evenings might cool off, so we recommend bringing sweaters or shawls for any outdoor activities.

RSVP: When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by May 15th, 2022 via this website on the HOME or SCHEDULE page. Hope you can make it!

RSVP: What if I have a dietary restriction or an allergy?

Please be sure to provide any dietary restrictions or allergies when completing the RSVP. You may also reach out to either of us by phone or email.

Travel: When should I arrive in Lake Como?

We are planning to arrive in Lake Como on Monday, August 15th and will depart on Friday, August 19th. There are not any formal wedding events until the afternoon of August 16th, so please feel free to travel to Lake Como at your leisure.

Travel: When should I book flights and hotels?

August is the peak summer month for Lake Como as many Europeans have their annual leave. We recommend booking hotels and flights as soon as you can.

Travel: What about COVID-19?

Keeping our fingers crossed that there will not be any issues. We will be monitoring the situation closely, and will be updating the COVID-19 information on the TRAVEL page.

Travel: The hotel is in Bellagio, but what if I want to visit the other towns on the lake?

Great! You definitely should! There are water taxis and ferries that run from Bellagio to all the major towns on the lake. The water taxis are a fun experience and quick way to travel, but can be expensive. Ferry schedules have been released for summer 2022, so visit www.lakecomotravel.com for more information about transportation around the lake.

Schedule: Will food be served at the Welcome Party?

Yep! Wouldn't be a wedding in Italy without copious amounts of food and drinks.

Schedule: Do I have to stay at the After Party until 2:00 am?

The boat will be stopping back in Bellagio to drop off guests after leaving Villa de Balbianello. The schedule has factored in time for guests to depart and change prior to the boat heading back out for the After Party. The boat will be able to dock into port at any time for guests to depart - whether you want to stay an hour or the entire time. Just notify Sarah and/or David, so they can direct the captain and crew back to port.
